Suite à l’annonce officielle de la mise en vente du Domaine de Boudré par le Conseil Général (513 ha), une délégation de Seichois et d’habitants des communes avoisinantes se mobilisent pour la sauvegarde de ce site.
Cette délégation a assisté à la séance du conseil municipal de la Ville de Seiches sur le Loir qui s’est tenue le 15 décembre dernier pour soutenir les élus dans le vote d’une motion portant sur la protection de ce domaine.
En effet, la mise en vente du domaine de Boudré, cher à toute la région ne laisse pas insensible la population et suscite même de grandes inquiétudes et interrogations quant au devenir de ce site naturel unique, réservoir d’une grande biodiversité et situé dans la boucle du loir.
En 2014 alors que l’on parle de plus en plus d’écologie, de protection de la nature, de sauvegarde de l’environnement naturel, le Conseil Général fait le choix de mettre en vente ce domaine d’une valeur inestimable géré par l’Office National des Forêts et présentant un intérêt notoire pour la Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux.
De par sa beauté le domaine de Boudré, qui comprend l’hippodrome de Seiches sur le Loir, bien que domaine privé du Conseil Général, fait partie de la fierté de notre commune. Il n’en reste pas moins un lieu incontournable et très apprécié des touristes passant dans la région. Il est d’ailleurs mis fréquemment en valeur lors des réunions hippiques proposées par la Société de course et les courses d’endurance organisées par le comité équestre départemental, ainsi qu’à l’occasion des multiples activités proposées par les associations locales, les randonnées diurnes et nocturnes, avec la présence notable d’un sentier de grande randonnée, les cross départementaux, les sorties scolaires, les sorties mycologiques, les chasses, sans oublier évidemment les promenades et pique-niques faits en famille au milieu de la nature et du grand air.
Pour toutes ces raisons il est capital de veiller à la protection du domaine de Boudré. Cette vente ne doit pas être préjudiciable à notre patrimoine.
